After World War II, the store became Morrow Brothers Furniture, which lasted up to the 1990s. Morrow Brothers bought the store next door to make the building larger.The store had a balcony like in the Daily Grind around the top and a well in the middle. Early 1900s

W. W. Rankin bought the building and opened a dry goods store in it. He also installed the second hand operated elevator in Mooresville and the first electric elevator.  Mr. Rankin sold clothing, furniture, fabric and other items in the store.



Our Epic story began when Ernest Henry Miller built the structure that would later become home to Epic Chophouse. This was only the second brick building in Mooresville and started as Miller Drug Company.
